Brief Course Descriptions

   What is the Refresher? An intensive refresher of general surgery just before the exam takes place. Using the powerful teaching techniques Dr. Argy has developed for his standard Small Group, Audit and Comprehensive Review courses, you'll get a summary of everything you need before the exam.

   The Refresher Small Group includes:

   • at least 3 practice scenarios built into the tuition. Hone your skills!
   • learn your strengths and weaknesses in presentation
   • learn how the exam really works, and what the examiners look for
   • develop a personalized plan for practicing and improving your presentation skills
   • see the most common content covered in the exam

   In the Refresher Audit:
   • you observe others in the hot seat
   • learn how the exam really works, and what the examiners look for
   • observe others' strengths and weaknesses in presentation
   • develop an understanding for practicing and improving presentation skills
   • see the most common content covered in the exam

   The Content Review allows you to be exposed to every scenario Dr. Argy has ever seen on the exam.
   • 8 solid hours of content
   • See the scenarios on your exam! 95+% likelihood that the questions you actually get on the exam will already have been covered in the Content Review
   • Candidates who want to attend the Review are required to attend the Small Group or Audit Refresher during the day. (The Review is based on the preceding course, so you learn how to present the content optimally to the examiners.)
